The Foresters Arms is a timeless, 16th century, classic country pub with dining and accommodation which is nestled in the pretty village of Graffham just a short drive from the surrounding towns of Midhurst and Petworth.
Real ales, delicious home cooked food, the warmest of welcomes for all the family (including the dog) infact all the ingredients for your perfect local.
We have gone back to basics with a daily changing short menu reflecting the seasons, using high quality local English produce within a fifty mile radius of the pub. The emphasis here is very much on excellent quality, locally sourced food.
We offer local real ales and a personally chosen wine list offering the very best in quality and value from selected vintners.
For Bed & Breakfast guests our en-suite letting rooms are tastefully decorated to create an attractive, cosy and relaxing environment, these are situated next to the main building.
Our basic philosophy will always be offering good service, comfortable accommodation, excellent food, wine and beer in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
The Foresters is easily reached from the A285 south of Petworth, from the A286 south of Midhurst and from the A272 between the two.

A warm welcome awaits you at the Thorverton Arms, a 16th century coaching inn, is located in the centre of the beautiful village of Thorverton in Devon. We are in the heart of the English countryside and yet only seven miles from Exeter (handy for the University) and eight miles from the local town of Tiverton, making it the ideal touring base for the north and south Devon beaches, Exmoor and Dartmoor.
The Thorverton Arms boasts a welcoming bar where you will find a comprehensive selection of real ales, wines and spirits; a separate award-winning restaurant that serves home-made classic English food; a large south-facing patio and garden; a large car park and very comfortable en-suite letting rooms.
There is a separate, fully licensed, restaurant at the Thorverton Arms. Our chef and landlord, Garth Pearse, has more than 10 year's experience in the trade.
