Hotel Your Way - Chelsea House Hotel

Hotel Your Way - Chelsea House Hotel

Built in 1908 as the home of a Dutch Packet Ship Captain, Chelsea House has been extensively upgraded to incorporate modern comforts whilst still retaining its original character and charm (see photos) and providing a quiet and homely atmosphere.

Chelsea House Hotel is situated in a quiet road set just in from the seafront in Falmouth. Our slightly elevated position means that most of our rooms have wonderful sea views of Falmouth Bay and the coastline.

Donna and Tony Garbett are welcoming hosts who enjoy caring for their guests in their home and will be delighted to assist in planning your stay in Cornwall. Of particular interest is gardening and they are past winners of the "Britain in Bloom" competitions.

Falmouth is an ideal base for your holiday in Cornwall whatever your interests. Falmouth`s natural harbour is the third deepest in the world and provides a picturesque background to the resort, a focal point for many water sports and the perfect location for the new National Maritime Museum Cornwall Many of the harbour side shops, cafes and restaurants have unsurpassed views across the water to Flushing, Falmouth Bay and beyond. Here in Falmouth`s main street you will find a charming mix of shops from well known high street names to individual specialist outlets.

All guests arriving between 3 and 6 pm and stay the minimum of four nights are welcomed with a complimentary Cornish cream tea with home-made scones, jam and clotted cream which can be enjoyed relaxing in our spacious dining room overlooking our garden and the bay or relaxing under an umbrella on the lawn in our attractive garden with its profusion of sub-tropical plants mingling with the scent of English roses.
