BB your way - Bankside B & B

BB your way - Bankside B & B

Bankside, the beautiful bed and breakfast accommodation in Uggeshall, Suffolk assures you of the highest standards of comfort for your break on the Sunrise Coast.

Situated around four miles from Southwold on the stunning heritage coast, Uggeshall is ideally situated close to the perfect natural landscape of coastal Suffolk, from the picturesque beaches of Southwold, Walberswick and Aldeburgh to the sweeping sandy cliffs, heathland and forest of nearby Dunwich. The RSPB nature reserve at Minsmere, beautiful Henham Park, the renowned Snape Maltings are all nearby and if simply beautiful walks in the Suffolk countryside are the order of the day, then Bankside provides a luxurious base from which these many local attractions can be enjoyed.

Bankside is a luxurious, quiet, non-smoking bed and breakfast accommodation, situated in the peaceful and tranquil village of Uggeshall. It is set opposite attractive woodland where Barn Owls, Little Owls, Marsh Harriers and various species of woodpecker and deer are regular visitors.

The two south-facing deluxe bedrooms enjoy en-suite facilities, a king-size bed, hair dryer, clock-radio, flat screen TV, luxurious "Christy" bed linen, Egyptian cotton towels and a range of Cavendish & Clark toiletries. Each bedroom has a hospitality tray with a range of tea, coffee, biscuits and a complimentary bottle of mineral water. And Wi-Fi is freely available.

Gourmet breakfasts are freshly prepared using the finest ingredients from local farmers, growers and dairies and we are always happy to share their details with our guests. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden and picturesque woodland opposite. When the weather allows, guests can enjoy breakfast on the patio to the rear that overlooks glorious countryside.

In the evenings, guests may wish to sample the excellent local cuisine that is available in a wide variety of restaurants and pubs. Good food and drink is in abundance and as you would expect, first class seafood can be found in many eateries. And for connoisseurs of beer, many of the local pubs serve ales brewed by the local – and world famous – Adnams Sole Bay Brewery.

The hosts are always on hand to welcome guests to Bankside with a pot of tea or coffee and a slice of the "cake of the day" and in warm weather, our home-made ice cream is very popular. There is a beautiful rear garden overlooking farmland and a stunning summer house both of which are available to guests for reading and relaxation
