Harwood Guest House is privately owned by Helen & Ian Aldridge, offering bed & breakfast accommodation only a few miles from Stansted Airport in Essex. 

Upon your arrival, you are guaranteed a warm friendly welcome, a comfortable and relaxing night's sleep in one of our six en-suite bedrooms and a delicious home-cooked breakfast in the morning.

For those guests who are flying from Stansted Airport and wish to leave their car with us, we offer courtesy transport to and from the airport.

Set in a third of an acre, Harwood Guest House is a non-smoking establishment with private off-road parking, guest conservatory abd a license to serve alcohol. All our bedrooms are en-suite and children of all ages are welcome.

Within just a few minutes stroll from Harwood Guest House are a variety of fine local restaurants, bars and country pubs offering everything from bar snacks to a la carte food.

All bedrooms are en-suite and tastefully decorated to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Each bedroom is equipped to a high standard with colour TV and video, radio alarm clock and hair dryer, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

As well as fruit juices, cereals, yoghurts and toast, a choice of breakfast is included in the price of your stay. You can choose from the traditional great British breakfast, lighter choices such as smoothies and fruit salad, as well as vegetarian options.
