BB your way - Lime Trees Farmhouse B & B

The Lime Trees Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast which was built in 1760 at the start of the reign of George III and is now a warm and comfortable family home, providing a high standard of comfort and hospitality for our guests.

Located in the quiet hamlet of Blackthorn on the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire borders, situated in an acre of landscaped gardens, Lime Trees Farm is surrounded by eleven acres of pasture land.

On spring and summer afternoons many of our guests returning from a sightseeing trip, or a day of business commitments, enjoy a cup of tea next to the ornamental pond, soothed by the sound of trickling water, or enjoy a stroll around our landscaped gardens. A back drop of pasture with horses quietly grazing make this the perfect pastoral idyll.

Our breakfast typically consists of fresh fruit juice, a selection of cereals or fruit, followed by a choice of a traditional English cooked breakfast consisting of bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms with eggs however you like them, a vegetarian cooked breakfast or a continental breakfast, accompanied by toast and tea or coffee. Alternatively ask for the Lime Trees Special - creamy scrambled eggs on toast with a lattice of smoked salmon.

Lime Trees farm is the perfect equestrian property offering comprehensive and quality facilities. The loose boxes are built of stone and surround our attractive stable yard. The stone built tack room is built at the side of the stable block and is both dry and secure.
